Self Help Resources to help guide you through challenging times

Whether you are on the waiting list, or you are not quite ready to talk to someone about your thoughts and feelings, we have collated a selection of self-help guides which aim to help you deal with the various thoughts that may be clouding your mind.

The collection of topics below aims to dive deeper in to what may be making you feel these various emotions. The guides aim to help you recognise what may be bothering you, understand these feelings and find ways to help you manage, progress and deal with these.

You can work through the guides at your own pace and revisit them at any time you wish. Each guide has specific information pertaining to that topic, if you feel a mix of these please do not hesitate to work your way through multiple guides.

These self-help guides are intended for people with mild-to-moderate concerns. If you’re feeling distressed, in a state of despair, suicidal or in need of emotional support you can phone NHS 24 on 111.

In an emergency, call 999.
